I’m pretty pumped for running at the moment, but there are times where I really have to think myself out the door.
I trick myself ;) Without overthinking, I put my gear on and tell myself “I’m going to walk until I feel like running…” or “I’ll just run 5 minutes and if I don’t want to run anymore, I’ll stop” ie. trick yourself into getting out, once you’re out you usually start to feel like running.
Phone a friend - meet someone for a run. Accountability and company can make all the difference!
Change it up - I change my route, mix up the terrain, head to the gym and get on a treadmill. Variety helps.

PS. If you try all these things & you really don’t feel like running, then maybe you need one extra rest day to help your body recover & your motivation to return.
