ACHIEVE your RUNNING Dreams.

I sincerely love to help others achieve their running dreams. I believe there are no limits to what you can achieve if you put your mind to it, dedicate yourself and take the necessary action. As a coach I specialise in personalising your running program to your life, from beginners wishing to run their first 5k to more experienced distance runners wanting to set a personal best to ultra runners wanting to achieve a strong 100km - I aim to systematically get you to the start line in your best running form, building your training load while keeping you injury free.

Running programs should not be a "one size fits all". We all have different needs, including work, family, other responsibilities as well as responses to training, volume and running strengths, weaknesses and preferences. I will work closely with you to make sure your program is challenging, rewarding, realistic and specific to you.

DO YOU NEED A COACH?

RECENT TESTIMONIALS

Chris - Shellharbour Half Marathon 2025

~ Successful morning taking 16 minutes from my last half marathon and reaching the goal of sub 2 hours running 1hr 51mins! Thanks Kate for the training guidance and helping me with the mindset that I could do it! On to Sydney marathon next!!

Yvonne - Sydney marathon 2024

~ "I first reached out to Kate in 2022 after running my first marathon in Sydney with a time of 4:47. Since then, thanks to her personalised weekly training plans, I’ve taken an hour off my marathon time — finishing Sydney this year in 3:47!”

Debbie ~ I have been training under Kate for almost 10 years, through 10 marathons and countless halves. Kate has pushed me to my limits and beyond what I ever thought was possible. Kate recognised what I was capable of and set the bar high early. This gave me something to aim for and I gave my all to reach it. Now I am less competitive with my running Kate has been able to adjust my training accordingly. When you find a good thing, stick to it.

“If you are super competitive or running for fun and fitness I can highly recommend Coach Kate. ”

Rob (2019, ongoing) ~ I have been running for most of my adult life, but more seriously since I emigrated to South Australia in 2012. In 2019, I was at a point in my running where I felt I had gone as far as I could on my own. I needed someone to help guide me towards my marathon running goals, someone who would take the pressure off me by coming up with a structured plan, someone who could help teach me how to be a better runner. Signing up with Coach Kate was the best decision I have ever made with my running. While I've knocked off eight minutes from my marathon PB, more importantly I have learned so much about all facets of running, and a lot about myself. The training plans are flexible and can be changed if real life happens, you’re supported throughout as you train towards your goal. During race week and race day, the support you receive from Kate makes you feel as though she is running alongside you every step of the way.

Mel

Mel ~ I winged my training until the half marathon distance. When I decided to push for the longer distance of a full marathon and I knew I couldn’t wing it anymore and finish comfortably so I turned to the Running Mums Australia Facebook group and found Kate who as a runner herself understands why we run as well as being super easy to talk to. The training app she uses is easy to navigate and her plans are never boring.

I loved running my first marathon and wouldn’t have made it without her.

Now we’re working on training for my first ultra marathon and I have no doubt that I’ll achieve that goal too with Kate on my side.

One of the positives of not being able to run for a little while is that you get to feel the Runners High intensely again, kind of like when you take a break from coffee, then that first coffee back is like whooooaaaa!! Even though the run was very u
I’ve been thinking about some of the most satisfying races I’ve done, ones where I dreamt big, worked hard & had That Feeling in the race - of being in the moment, dialed in, and in the zone. It takes a lot of structured and specific
Lots of cross training for me this week, but in other news, someone close to me has a bit of a running for 2025, I'm quite excited for him ... iykyk 🥰🏃‍♂️
The art/science that formulates the optimal training for each of my athletes. It's a matrix. It's actually probably 3D. I'll draw it properly one day!
What are your 2025 running goals? Did you get into the Sydney Marathon via the ballot and... now what? Let's talk 😉🏃‍♂️
ps.yes, that's me (from a little while ago obvs.) & yes, I made this post myself, but I'm proud of it anyway 😝
